Hunter Injures Man On Toilet While Aiming At Moose

A Norwegian hunter accidentally hit a man sitting on the toilet while aiming at a moose.

The man missed and accidentally hit a man sitting on the toilet in a nearby cabin while aiming at a moose, according to police.

The bullet whizzed past the animal, pierced the wooden wall behind it and struck the man in the stomach.

The victim, who is in his seventies, was flown by helicopter to hospital but his injury was not life-threatening, said the policeman who led the investigation.

The hunter was taken in for questioning in Hvaler district, about 74 miles south-east of the capital, Oslo.

Fortunately, the moose escaped unscathed.
