American Babysitter Beats 4-Yr-Old To Death, Pleads Not Guilty

A 53-year-old babysitter from Los Angeles, USA, allegedly beat the 4-year-old girl and instead of calling 911 took her to the hospital on public transport.

According to the police, little Mya Migneault (pictured above), whose mother was away in the South, died from blunt abdominal trauma shortly after arrival to the healthcare institution. 

Scott, who was arrested right after the incident on Friday, March 28, pleaded not guilty and is currently being held in lieu of $1.1 million bail.

Speaking with journalists the assault victim's grandfather, Gary Greenberg, said the girl was a perfect unspoilt child, adding: "Mya was my whole life."

The next hearing will be held on April 7.
