Man, 32, Asks if He Should Marry Long-Time Girfriend, or Pursue New Relationship

Is it worth staying with someone whom you respect and pity? On the other hand, is it safe to enter a relationship with a completely new person, abandoning the person you've eperienced highs and lows with? Man, 32, wonders if he should marry his long-time girlfriend, mother of his daughter, or pursue a relationship with a woman he feels passion for.

I'm a 32-year-old guy ripe for marriage and kids and taking responsibility for my family. We' ve been together with my girlfriend (now a fiancee) for over six years and are set to get married in December. We have a wonderful baby girl together.

Together, we've been through Heaven and Hell, we share so many memories and have always supported each other.

Here comes the BUT: but I met another woman. She stole my heart right away and makes me feel things I didn't know I was capable of feeling. We've known each other for about a year now, but I know she's amazing in every aspect: sex, conversations, she's very bright and independent... It was never like that with my fiancee, now it actually feels as if we're brother and sister. There's warmth and respect, but there also is nothing new, no passion, she's just a typical girlfriend who dreams of getting married and raise a family. While I now know my lover is my true soulmate.

However, I feel very guilty about the prospect of leaving my fiancee. She's given me all those six and a half years, she's the mother of my baby girl. Her friends would certainly make a laughing stock of her if they learnt I'd left her. They have been nagging her for years as to why we're still not married, and warned that this might mean I would eventually leave her. I feel that she doesn't deserve this.

So, should I stay with her out of pity, or marry my true love? Help me decide.
