Boko Haram Kills 17 In Alagarno, Borno State

According to latest news reported by journalists of BBC, Boko Haram are suspected to be responsible for killing 17 people in new attack in Alagarno village, in Borno State.

According to reports, the insurgents of Boko Haram spent hours at night allegedly killing innocent people in Alagarno village and than went away on stolen vehicles. They have arrived around 11 p.m. and left around 3 a.m.

The attack happened just a day after 118 died in bomb attacks in Jos city, the attack also made supposedly by Boko Haram and the same day as the other attack with 30 people dead in Shawa Damboa LGA, in Borno state.

Alagarno village is situated close to Chibok, from where over 200 girls were kidnapped over a month ago by Boko Haram.

As reported by witnesses of the attack, the attackers arrived around midnight and killed and looted for several hours. One of the survivors told the journalists of BBC that they torched every building in the city.  

According to latest news, this morning the local citizens already started funerals for those that died in the attack.
