Manchester City was fortunate to grab a point in a home clash with #20 of the English Premier League, Sunderland, on April 16, 2014.

The hosts got the lead on the 2nd minute with the goal by Fernandinho. However, a double by Sunderlands’ Connor Wickham double on 73` and 83` threatened to deliver a hammer blow.

Samir Nasri saved City from a bitter defeat on 88th minute.

In another match of the day, Crystal Palace, whose nickname is the ‘Eagles’, taught a good lesson to Everton, winning in an away game (2 – 3). Everton’s TOP-4 finish and Champions' League fate are now out of their hands.

The TOP three of the English Premier League, with just 4 games to complete, now looks like this:

Rank   Team                    P      GD   Pts

1          Liverpool 34     51    77

2          Chelsea                34     42    75

3          Manchester City    33      54   71
